AIS always seeks how we sustain our connectivity with customers and hence new sources of revenue. While convergence lifestyle is growing importantly, getting into the fixed broadband business is at the right time. Total fixed broadband connection in Thailand is mere 30% of household and mostly concentrated in limited urban areas, leaving several areas untapped and underserved. We forecast that by year 2020 Thailand fixed broadband market size could reach 50% of household. While the existing market relies predominantly on ADSL technology, customers’ current and future demand is pushing for the need of improving experience of faster speed and higher efficiency of service that the existing technology is insufficient.

2017 is the third year of operation of AIS Fibre after having a quick expansion because of the solid foundation and improvement in sales, installation and after-sale service teams, as well as financial support.
